  • Description: The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a strategically important role in the accuracy of the plumbing warehouse inventory. Also the accuracy of the plumbing finish orders and outbound plumbing delivery orders. This role is responsible for applying the appropriate methods and/or approaches to identify opportunities for inventory and order accuracy improvement through observation, interviews, data analysis, or other means. Work with individuals at all levels of E Bay to execute plans to improve inventory accuracy and plumbing finish orders and outbound plumbing deliveries. Technical Responsibilities of the Job
    • Inspect all staged plumbing finish pallets for order accuracy.
    • Inspect all staged outbound plumbing deliveries for accuracy.
    • Work with the Plumbing Purchasing Specialist to resolve inventory issues/discrepancies.
    • Work with the Plumbing Purchasing Specialist to identify and resolve stranded plumbing material issues.
    • Conduct inventory cycle counts.
    • Run various reports in SAP to identify plumbing materials that need to be replenished, and communicate replenishment needs to replenishment team.
    • Audit bin locations to ensure accuracy and integrity of each bin location, and maintain score card of inaccurately binned or inaccurately replenished bin locations.
    • Work with pullers and warehouse management to revise bin locations to make plumbing order picks more efficient.
    • Maintain score card for missing or incorrectly pulled material by each material puller.
    • Maintain score card for incorrectly or missing material on plumbing orders due to material not being on or incorrectly specified on top sheet or bill of material.
    • Maintain score card of replenish team’s productivity.
    • Maintain score card of the tub repair specialist’s productivity.
    • And any other duties as assigned.

    • High school diploma preferred.
    • Forklift certification both stand up and sit down preferred.
    • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
    • Knowledge of plumbing parts and fittings preferred.
