Volunteers of America and Villara invite you to join us in supplying new backpacks and school supplies to low-income and homeless children in our community!
Attached to this email you will find 2 different supply forms with suggested items to donate. Simply select between the “Elementary School” or “Middle & High School” levels and purchase as many items on the supply list as you can BEFORE JULY 26TH.
Place the supplies inside a backpack with this completed form and drop it all off with the Human Resources Dept. or the front desk of 4700 Lang Ave, McClellan CA, 95652. Last year Operation Backpack handed out over 9,000 backpacks to homeless children in our region. This allowed the kids to start their first day of the school year looking and feeling more like their housed classmates and less like a child in need. In 2018 Villarans donated over 50 backpacks to Volunteers of America! Way to go Villara!
