Position Overview

An HVAC Estimating Manager is responsible for ensuring all work performed meets current codes and Villara’s exceptional quality standards. The Estimating Manager will oversee the Estimating, Options and FAB process for all HVAC activities to our builders. Additionally, the Manager will plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Supervisors, including the preparation of construction cost estimates, budgets, and value engineering, based on Villara’s design and bid strategy criteria. This role will promote and maintain sales in accordance with the company’s business plans. The Estimating Manager answers directly to the Vice President.

  • Receive directions and “Scope of Job Activities” from Vice President in meetings held for that purpose
  • Coordinate the operational activities of staff, and resolves day-to-day administrative and/or operational issues

  • Develop and ensure the delivery of structured onboarding for all new Estimating employees
  • Regularly collaborate with the Purchasing Team, and ensure cross-departmental processes are continually upgraded to improve workflow and company profitability
  • Support the continued growth of Villara’s company culture and encourage a positive attitude within the team
  • Attend classes and seminars inside and outside the company to continually develop skills
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods and quality of product through Gemba Walks and Lean principles
  • Attend bi-weekly Job Costing Meeting and use the information to create action items.
  • Work closely with internal supervisors to ensure the team is performing to expectations; provide individual training and coaching as needed.
  • Develop, research, apply and recommend Value Engineering Principles and Methods to reduce project construction costs.

As an R&D Lab Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to the R&D team in developing, testing, and validating HVAC/R systems, components, and new/existing Villara product lines.   • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment, instruments, and tools such as HVAC/R systems, data acquisition systems, temperature and humidity sensors, pressure gauges, flow meters, and air handling units.

Job Summary

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance, inspection, installation, operation and repair of heating and cooling systems in residential buildings. Technicians will primarily respond to service calls, evaluate needs, present options to customers, gain customer approval and complete work. Scope of work:

The Accounts Payable Specialist II is responsible for the timely and accurate data capture of vendor invoices, credit memos, adjustments and department filing. The specialist will be responsible for auditing internal reports for accuracy and corrective action as necessary. The A/P Specialist II will also distribute all A/P correspondence to appropriate personnel, interface with vendors when necessary, and perform all clerical duties associated with the position. Additional activities may include invoice auditing, statement reconciliation, and certain weekly or monthly A/P functions. The A/P Specialist II will be required to review and analyze data and will be required to identify trends and make recommendations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in Accounts Payable is required.
  • Intermediate computer skills including, S.A.P,
  • Microsoft applications coupled with general office practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (test given). Initiative and desire to positively impact financial results are highly recommended.
  • Construction industry background highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Review information received for completeness.
  • Assist in documenting all processes and providing information to users.
  • Assist in special projects as directed by management.
  • Provide management with trends and analysis of activities.
  • Assist the Accounts Payable staff with monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.
  • Maintain all department filing in a neat, orderly, and timely fashion.
  • Work with vendors to resolve questions.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable payments terms when applicable.
  • Timely and accurate processing of all vendor invoices.

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Accounts payable: 3 years (Required)
  • SAP: 1 year (Required)
  • Processing Invoices: 3 years (Required)
  • Negotiation: 3 years (Required)

Salary: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
