Tradesman/Journeyman Plumber

The Plumbing Journeyman will be motivated and responsible for routing various types of pipes and water lines to the sewer systems of new residential and multi-family homes. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for strapping pipes, nail plating, running condensation lines, gluing pipe and running pex lines.

Job Summary

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance, inspection, installation, operation and repair of heating and cooling systems in residential buildings. Technicians will primarily respond to service calls, evaluate needs, present options to customers, gain customer approval and complete work.   • Install vents, duct work (flex and metal), plenum, equipment and registers in residential and commercial buildings using hand and power tools according to code and established company procedures.

Position Overview

In this role, the individual will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and servicing residential homeowner’s HVAC systems.  

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • Maintain, diagnose and correct problems throughout the entire HVAC system.
  • Perform all of the low voltage wiring for the indoor and outdoor unit
  • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
  • Start up the furnace for the first time to burn all of the manufactures oil off

Position Overview

The Finish Plumber may drive their personal vehicle or a company vehicle.  Their primary responsibility will be to install faucets, water heaters, tubs, under sink drain assemblies, water supply valves and water supply lines for residential and multi-family housing

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

In this role, the individual will be responsible for performing first time furnace and A/C start up for residential homes. 

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • Maintain, diagnose and correct problems throughout the entire HVAC system.
  • Perform all of the low voltage wiring for the indoor and outdoor unit
  • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
  • Start up the furnace for the first time to burn all of the manufactures oil off

Responsible for overall project timing, coordination, budgets, staffing, material purchasing, project meetings, contract scope, price and plans.  The overall budget goals for profit are managed by the Project Manager and directed through the Foreman and field personnel.

  • Assist Estimating Department in conceptual budgeting brought in from your contacts with General Contractors on your jobs.
  • Work closely with Service Departments on control systems and start-up to assure competitive scope, pricing, and timing.

Training/Certification

  • Minimum 2 years Project Management Experience.
  • Executive Assistant experience is acceptable.
  • Qualified employee will be subject to driving record.
  • A high level of competency will all Microsoft programs – sap is a bonus and project management tools (example: SupplyPro, MS Project)
  • Construction experience preferable.
  • Proven management and customer relation skills.

 

Education

AA Degree in Construction Management is desirable.
