Position Overview

 Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • May take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed
  • May manage and maintain files, records, and correspondence
  • Type documents, drafts, and reports
  • May update staff calendars and organize schedules
  • Prepare information and research for manager’s needs
  • Possibly track office supplies for department

Plumbing Installers

Location: Sacramento and Manteca ($19.61 – $24.80)

The Plumbing Installer/Tradesman will be motivated and responsible for routing various types of pipes and water lines to the sewer systems of new residential and multi-family homes. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for strapping pipes, nail plating, running condensation lines, gluing pipe and running pex lines.

  • Cast Iron Waste Lines ( using bands and snap cutters)
  • ABS Drain Lines (using pipe cutters and glue)
  • Copper water lines (measure, cut, clean, flux and solder)

Description: CLASS A DRIVER (PART TIME)

SHIFT: Day Shift (4am-10:30am)

The purpose of this position is to deliver materials to job sites. This position requires the daily operation of delivery vehicles which requires a Class A license with a doubles endorsement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transport materials between warehouses and job sites.
  • Hook up to and drop trailers using tractor-trailer dollies.
  • Unload and stage materials at designated job sites.
  • Review delivery notes / paperwork to ensure the accuracy of deliveries.
  • Set equipment upon elevated platforms during the appropriate building phase.
  • Install A/C lines in marked locations during the appropriate building phase.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and changes in assignments.
  • Must read, understand, and fill out paperwork completely and accurately.
  • Have the ability to work with others including peers and other departments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Class a driver’s license with doubles endorsement.
  • Active medical certification.
  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Ability to use some hand tools such as a hammer.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to read/comprehend, write, and communicate orally in English.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75lbs frequently and 100lbs occasionally.

Performs semi-skilled tasks in maintaining the vehicles and mechanical equipment, either personally, or through outside vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, carries out and evaluates preventive maintenance schedules for all vehicles and mechanical equipment, either personally, or through outside vendors.
  • Operates a variety of diagnostic instruments and a variety of hand, electric, and air-driven tools.
  • Tests, services and repairs vehicles and mechanical equipment.
  • Inspects, adjusts and replaces necessary units and related parts in the performance of repair and maintenance work.

  • Conducts various analysis and inspections of vehicles and mechanical systems to determine the most cost-effective means of maintenance, repair or replacement.
  • Develops shop procedures and budget data for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and mechanical systems.
  • Purchases equipment, parts, and supplies used for vehicle and mechanical system maintenance.
  • Maintains records, prepares reports and other specialized maintenance records of equipment and mechanical equipment.
  • Assists in the preparation and administration of mechanical budgets in conformance with adopted policies and procedures.

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

· Assemble products with supervision per process details specified by our customers. This may involve using simple hand tools as well as more complex equipment such as CNC press brakes and spot welders.

· The ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math functions is essential.

The Parts Coordinator/Expediter will ensure efficient management and distribution of parts and components to support our operations. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong communication skills, and can maintain accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform Technicians of potential delays.
  • Collaborate with Technicians for updates on delivery timelines
  • Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of productive operations.
  • Compile, record and report project performance and progress to management and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the notification of materials to be purchased to the purchasing team
  • Work with a distributor to cross-reference parts and equipment and research online as well
  • Adding and maintaining materials and the accuracy of their information in Service Titan
  • Receive and process material orders in SAP for the organization’s HVAC and Plumbing departments.
  • Ensure Price and Availability meet the business needs.
  • Create Purchase Orders in Service Titan for plumbing and HVAC parts requests
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming orders track and notify the appropriate recipients.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Home Services team to ensure timely delivery of ordered materials
  • Ensure the materials being ordered are correct, working with technician as necessary
  • Correct orders requesting incorrect material requests, as necessary
  • Work with Technicians to ensure warranty returns are labeled per the best practices
  • Maintain organized records of all parts transactions in Service Titan, including Purchase Orders, incorrect orders, one-and-done orders, and returns.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their parts needs and prioritize orders accordingly.
  • Communicate with external suppliers to negotiate terms, expedite orders, and resolve issues.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in supply chain management or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in Plumbing and/or HVAC
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience in parts coordination, inventory management, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects when required.

The Dispatcher supports the day-to-day operations of the Home Service Department by efficiently scheduling and dispatching technicians to calls. This role requires the dispatcher to think critically to ensure they are dispatching the best fit technician for the call.

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • Dispatch all service calls to ensure maximum scheduling efficiency without compromising client satisfaction.
  • Manage the dispatch board to keep field personnel on the move and generating revenue. Make every effort to compress call scheduling effectively and maximize productivity.
  • Notify clients ahead of time without fail if the technician is not going to arrive at their home within the scheduled time window and re-scheduling the time at the client’s convenience.
  • Communicate with the Purchasing and Warehouse Coordinator to help arrange efficient delivery of parts to the technicians. Every effort should be made to keep technicians on the job.
  • Strictly adhere to the Dispatching for Profits Priority Service Schedule to ensure the “Right” technician is sent to the “Right” appointment.
  • Share responsibility to ensure that all technicians arrive at their designated appointments ON TIME.
  • Debrief technicians after each call and insist that all employees collect payment immediately after each job is completed.

Training/Certification

  • Prior dispatch experience in the Home Service Industry (HVAC, plumbing, solar) a plus
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Working knowledge of ServiceTitan a plus

The A/P Supervisor is responsible for the overall quality output of the A/P department, including timely and accurate payment processing, reconciliations and reporting, building vendor relationships, working collaboratively with other departments and contributing to a positive work environment.

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible A/P experience in a high volume, fast paced environment, including a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.

Position Overview

Under direct supervision of the Field Foreman, an HVAC Installer will assist in the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in single family new construction homes. Installations will be up to code and Villara’s exceptional quality standards. Applicants with little to no experience can learn on-the-job through our Advanced Learning Program.

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • Install vents, duct work (flex), plenum and registers in residential and apartment houses or buildings using hand and power tools according to code and established company procedures.
  • Measure and cut sheet metal by using hand and power tools.
  • Move materials from delivery area to installation area.
  • Set and place forced air and A/C units.
  • Assembles bags of pre-assembled air handling systems by taping, caulking and/or Panduit strapping at common attachment points according to plans.
  • Clean up all debris on the job site and sweep up sawdust.
  • Exercise caution when operating or using tools and equipment and follow safety procedures.
  • Lean Principles including 5S
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and Management.

The primary role of a Career Development Coach is to support the onboarding, professional growth, and career pathway development of new and existing employees, in tandem with managers and supervisors. The Career Development Coach plays an instrumental role in the Career Development & Training Program, which was created to increase employee retention, growth, and engagement.

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • Meet with a specified number of new hires and existing employees per week (30 coaching hours per week)
  • Complete a comprehensive intake process, focusing on building trust with each employee as well as company leadership

  • The Career Development Coach will be evaluated on several different metrics: number of coaching sessions per day (4-6 on average) and overall coaching hours per week (30 hours on average); employee retention and promotion numbers, employee training and skills gain numbers, leader communication and relationship-building, and feedback from employees and leaders on the impact of the Coaching Program
